“Mmmm…. ngh…. where….” Markus sat up, looking around in confusion. “Did someone… take me..? At least they’re still here with me…” Markus sighed in relief, holding his tail against his chest.
“You’re at Resurgam Village’s medical complex. We’re keeping you three here until we see fit,” the Gardevoir in the corner said coldly. Markus sat up, rubbing his head with a mitten-like claw. “And before you think about moving from that pile of hay, just know that you won’t be able to lay a finger on me, especially considering that you’re a dragon.” He narrowed his eyes menacingly. “And with the full moon out tonight-”
Markus blinked, stretching out his oddly small wings. Just who the hell does he think he is?! I’m getting out of here… he thought to himself, lifting up off the ground.
“You aren’t leaving yet,” the doctor hissed, levitating over and… planting a kiss on the end of his muzzle. Markus fell back to the ground with a THUD!, his vision blurring.
What did that kid just do to me..? My head’s spinning… ears ringing... feel weak… better not be… blacking out… again… He fought for a few more futile seconds before Plop! Right back down on the pile of straw.

“Ah… so warm…” Elena murmured blissfully.
“Of course. You were slowly freezing to death when we found you,” an unfamiliar voice said to her. Elena looked up to the source of the voice, mesmerized by his oddly graceful appearance. “Well, you should be thanking Derek, not me. After all, he was the one who sensed you in the first place. All I did was help carry you back here with my psychic abilities.” Elena sat up, shaking a little bit.
“Thank you… I… I really should find a way to thank you for saving us…” she said, holding her flower across her chest.
The gardevoir shook his head, “I appreciate the sentiment, but I do not need any sort of compensation for my services.”
Valerie slowly started to come to her senses as well, equally as captivated by the doctor floating in front of them.
“You… I recognize your voice… I heard it while I was unconscious,” Valerie told him, pointing a paw up at the Gardevoir.
He looked aside, shrugging, “Perhaps it was the use of my psychic abilities to read your thoughts in order to gather information about you three… Do you really only remember your names?”
Elena nodded, “Well, yes, but… It’s hard to explain, but it’s almost like we’ve… known each other before… like there’s an existing bond between us from our past lives.”
Erhard closed his eyes, writing down something on his clipboard, “I see… a very interesting phenomenon. I actually saw… beams, rays of pure energy connecting your hearts and souls together… A bond that strong, even when you have no memories of ever meeting each other, is truly a remarkable feat.”
“I thought we shared a strong bond… I just feel… safer when I’m around them. I know that as humans, we must have been through a lot together… Doctor, I have one more question before you leave…”
Erhard turned around in the doorway, his slim figure illuminated by the full moon, “Yes?”
Valerie looked down at the unconscious Dragonite on the floor, “...did you kiss Markus?”
Erhard nodded, nearly cracking a smug grin, “Yes, but it was in self-defense… Don’t worry, I don’t think I drained him too much…” And with that, he disappeared into the night.
Welp I don't think anyone asked for it but take it.
