Cursed: Chapter 2

"We're WHAT?!" Gabe exclaimed. "We can't adopt her! She'd probably kill me!" And as if on cue, the baby girl bit down hard on Gabe's hand, sinking her tiny yet sharp teeth into him. "YEOW!!!!" Gabe screamed.

        Cee pulled the little girl away, "No! Bad.... um... wait, what's her name?"

        Gabe kept trying to free his hand from the little wolf-girl's bite, "How should I know? She's wearing a collar, check that."

        Cee gently tugged the collar on the little girl's neck, looking on the inside of it. "Her name's Noel," she read. "Bad Noel! Play nice with daddy!" Noel released her grip on Gabe's hand, buried her face in Cee's chest, and started crying again.

        Gabe rubbed his hand, "Fine, we can keep her. But where's she gonna sleep? And DON'T say in our bed because I don't want to scar her for life."
